I was sad when I left Arkansas, and anxious about being back. But, boy, was it good to see everyone again.
On to the fun stuff! New Year's Eve about 50 people signed up to go with the Hostel to Voodoo at the Rio. All you can drink at the hostel and in the party bus. I didn't participate in the 2 hour drinking binge that everyone else took advantage of; I was too busy getting ready! The interstate and LV Blvd was shut down for the night so it took a while to get to the club. When we got there, trying to round up a bunch of wasted people to get in and ended up with us not getting in because they were too drunk. James did what he could at last minute and took everybody to Mandalay Bay. I stayed with another group of 6...I had met 3 of them before so they weren't really strangers and the other 3 were super friendly too. I had already paid $75 to James for the club so paying $100 was just too much for me. Luckily, Vito was nice and helped me out...and I ended up getting some of my money back from James! We got in and it was awesome with amazing views. At midnight the fireworks shot off from the roof of 8 casinos, and it was at that moment I was glad to be in Vegas for NYE. The first song of the new year was Rihanna's "We Found Love." It was a really good night and I had a lot of fun.

I've decided I'm pretty sure I'll be going back to Vegas sometime this summer to live and (actually) work. I think I could make more money there to save up than I would if I went back to Arkansas. We'll see... That's the beauty of not having set in stone plans.......
